Also..

I had one of those days at work that wasn't necessarily bad, but definatley didn't make me feel pumped at the end of the day. My girl Doreen totally felt my stress, as she's going through some tough stuff on her own, and said she felt my uneasy "energy" when I walked in. Anyways, she was right. I watched Six Feet Under when I got home to unwind, and it was that one episode (#7, Season One.. sorry Tom!!), where Claire questions going to college because she wants to do something that makes her time here meaningful. It was also the same episode where Nate stuck up for the dead army veteran who wanted a proper military funeral because the veteran felt that his service in Iraq was very meaningful.

Anyways, this episode and the new Iron Chic song (I'm plugging the shit out of them) just made me want to do something meaningful with my life even more. And I feel like we're trying pretty freaking hard but sometimes it's hard to remember that there is way more to living then serving burgers.

Lubrano

If you want to find a new favorite band, you should definately be listening to Iron Chic or Small Arms Dealer. I know, I know, my favorite man Phil Douglas is in both of these bands, but the most amazing part is Lubrano. His lyrics and voice blow me away every time I listen to anything he sings. I'm seriously probably one of the harshest music critics I know, and I can admit it probably even took me a while to get into Small Arms Dealer. But I'm hooked.. Please support these two bands, or check them out. Maybe it's because these past few months have been really crazy and emotionally draining, but his lyrics are meaning more and more to me every day.
